Comp vs. comp

Post  maelic on Wed May 07, 2014 3:06 pm

Hi,
I am looking for a GUI which would allow me to connet two computers through LAN and let them play each other with Stockfish or other engine.
Do you know any GUI like that? Does it even exist?
Thank you for your help.  Smile

here the Auto232driver for fritz
Code:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/5raruc

I suppose it can be done in any of the Fritz interfaces as long as the correct auto232.dev file is present the devices folder. For Fritz14 interface, if the driver is present, you can select it from Two Computer Match button (lower right corner of the image).

I just checked. The option for Two Engine Match is NOT available in Deep Fritz 14 or Deep Shredder 12 CB interface. It is present in Fritz 11 and Deep Rybka 3 CB interface (File -> New -> Two Computer Match or Control+Alt+J). Y

Two computer match is indeed supported as long as a working auto232.dev file is present in the devices folder of your relevant Fritz install directory.

Now.. The real problem is getting a auto232 driver that will work for Fritz 14..

Crying or Very sad looks like it supports only COM1 - COM8 and my computers do not have those...
I am able to connect them just through LAN or USB...
