shrapnel you're right I did a search and I understand what are the tablebase and you're right about the fact that you have to learn by yourself but a little help is not asking much I just want to know once you download the tablebase both archives must be on the same folder or not? How do I use it with scid (I decided to definitely use this program at the end XD), I do not think to ask too much, thanks again for the patience. I'm still inexperienced in these things so do not be angry if I say some bullshit XD

Both archives should be in different Folders, preferably on a fast SSD.

Go to Options -> Tablebase Directory menu, and choose the folder path containing the tablebase files. Remember to download the Syzygy 3-4-5 man tablebases if you have not already done so.

Agreed Shrapnel. An SSD is crucial for decent performance with 6 man bases.
