Hi guys,

does anybody have the book "The Most Flexible Sicilian: A Black Repertoire with 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 e6" in PGN format?

Hi,

Here is the PGN I created when I converted this book from the Forward Chess format:

There are some software tools written by our good friend qnarchi on the Immortal forum that I used. One tool processes the html book files from the Forward Chess (FC) system files (that we have to get by bypassing security/encryption) and converts them to show correct shess board diagrams - this can then be converted to a PDF using ASdobe Acrobat to share the PDF book. Another tool runs against the FC html files and generates the PGN with moves and variations (no text). It is more complex than this in practice but basically this is the essence. I used these tools to convert 252 x FC books to PDF and PGN and and shared them on the Immortal forum over a series of several weeks. This ran to mid September 2017 when FC changes their security/encryption and it then became a lot harder for FC books since then, but not impossible. Where there is a will there is a way and I managed to convert several FC book since then by getting the system files from people's Android systems on their phone/tablet (that they donated voluntarily having bought the book from FC) and doing some complex processing to bypass the new security/encryption and then running qnarchi's conversion tools.
